Marcel Kießlich

I've been obsessed with making things move on screen since forever. That obsession turned into a Master's degree in Game & Simulation Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg, Austria — where I got to spend both theses doing what I love: real-time physics. One was on Position Based Fluids, the other on rendering smoke in real-time VR.

By day I work as an Android & Next.js frontend developer. In my spare time I run a YouTube channel breaking down fluid simulation algorithms step by step. I also write books to make this world of math-heavy topics accessible to everyone willing to step into simulations.

I'm always exploring new ground in physics simulation — cloth, rigid bodies, fluids — and turning what I learn into content that actually explains it well and is easy to follow along.
